How It All Started
Three international students at the University of Essex. Each representing different influences and sensibilities yet united in their common love for film as one of the most powerful, long lasting and ubiquitous art forms in the world.
We were interested in stories, the people that tell them and the effect they have on audiences and through many long nights of rants and passionate speeches about our favourite films, we came to realise one singular commonality. We love talking about films, and we love sharing our opinions. And now, we share this with you and hope you can also relish your own love for this incredible artistic medium.

What Sets Us Apart
In a wave of social media performance and trends, something about the magic of deep, analytic and passionate film reviews has have become diminutive. Reviews Revived is a remedy to this. We believe in honest, constructive conversations around film.
This is a space where a group of young creatives discuss film for the love of it, rather than for the sake of surface level conversation. Harkening back to reviewers like Siskel and Ebert, we seek to reignite the power of long form film reviews.
